INDIAM™ is associated with perfumers who have completed their Diploma (2 Years) in The Fragrance Program conducted by NAB Perfumery College which is a unique educational initiative by the National Association for the Blind. The products developed by the associated students will be sold on the INDIAM platform on profit sharing basis an initiative to help enrich the lives of visually challenged people and to open them up to the world of perfumery.

Sumeet Mankar (Perfumist)

Is trained at National Blind Institute (NAB), and he successfully completed his “Diploma of Perfume and Fragrance” and ranked 1st position in his group. Sumeet was presented with his course completion certificate in 'RAJ BHAVAN' By the GOVERNOR OF MAHARASHTRA, ‘ SHRI BHAGAT SINGH KOSHYARI ‘

Sumeet believes by removing 'dis' from 'dis-ability' and by removing 'un' from 'un-fortunate'. he was 'able' to learn and find a 'fortunate' path to new doors for a new future for becoming a Fragrance Creator.

Sumeet was diagnosed with R.P (Retinitis Pigmentosa) in both eyes which has no cure, during his working period (2016 to 2018), he encounter this sudden blindness (blind spots), unlike regular blind people it was not 'black' but 'white', as if a white smoke appeared in front and very center of his (both) eyes which is not going away. Once it came it remained till now, because of this I can't see most of the things. Sumeet had to quit his job as he could not read, learn, or teach and lost all sense of direction. After completing NAB basic mobility course his perfumery course started. Sumeet came from a computer and technical background and now wants to be an innovator and want to create new technics and simple methods to create perfume.

FAISAL Mahmood (Perfumist)

Trained at National Blind Institute (NAB), and successfully completed his “Diploma of Perfume and Fragrance” and ranked A± position in college of perfumery. Faisal was presented with his course completion certificate in 'RAJ BHAVAN' By the GOVERNOR OF MAHARASHTRA, ‘SHRI BHAGAT SINGH KOSHYAR

Faisal is partially deaf (hearing aid dependent) partially blind (retinitis pigmentosa) Faisal believes ''Disability is a comma, But NOT a full stop to stop him from learning an art "
